The countdown to a new school year

Athlos Academy in St. Cloud called it “Try it on Tuesday.”

It was a day when students and their families could look at school uniforms to get a good idea of sizes and other options before placing online orders. Like students enrolled at most other area schools, they are preparing for classes to begin next week.

Open house at Athlos is 4-7:30 p.m. Thursday.

The first day of school for grades 1-7 at Athlos is Sept. 5. The first day for kindergartners is Sept. 7.

Athlos opened in August 2016. The school is at 3701-33rd St. S.
