Progress Continues at Athlos Academies Headquarters

It may not look like it from the outside, but construction is underway and things are coming together at the new Athlos Academies headquarters in downtown Boise, Idaho.

“We are so excited about the progress of Athlos headquarters,” said Cameron Arial, chief development officer at Athlos Academies. “Major demolition is nearly complete, footings to reinforce the structural design have been poured, and the parking ramp construction is underway.”

The soon-to-be Athlos headquarters is located on the corner of 10th and Idaho Streets in the former C.C. Anderson building, which sat vacant since 2010. The existing 1,050,000 square foot building is undergoing a major renovation and will serve as an educator training facility and operations office.

The new headquarters will feature a hardwood basketball court, fully-equipped athletic training center, and indoor turf where teachers from partnering schools will have the opportunity to train on the three Pillars of Performance: Prepared Mind, Healthy Body, and Performance Character.

Each week, progress is being made at Athlos headquarters, and the renovation is set to be complete by summer of 2016.

“We are anticipating the huge fabricated steel beam placement the beginning of April,” Arial said. “That is when the real fun begins.”
