Let there be color: Athlos Academy students welcome summer in a cloud of color
Athlos Academy students crawled and climbed around obstacles Friday at the school’s color-a-thon event.
The colorful obstacle course was organized by the school’s parent teacher association as a fundraiser. As of May 25, the event had raised nearly $11,000 that will go toward student enrichment activities, including a field trip to Washington, D.C. for students in the upper grades.
Athlos Academy of St. Cloud is a tuition-free charter school on the south side of St. Cloud. It opened last fall and has approximately 515 students in kindergarten through sixth grade.
